Cary accident injured 3 students

CARY, N.C.

The accident, which involved two vehicles and a bread truck, happened around 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of Chapel Hill and Trinity Roads.

In all, six people were injured.

The three students were taken to WakeMed in Raleigh. Laura Santiago was driving, while Matthew Sheehan and Annetta San Diego were her passengers. All three are 17 years old. At last check, Santiago and Sheehan were listed in good condition, while San Diego remains in critical condition.

Crash investigators are still working to figure out what caused the crash.
