It happened Saturday night at the Domino's Pizza on Holloway Street in Durham. Police said the would-be robber fired one shot, hitting the on duty manager in the left arm but didn't get any cash.
The suspect fled the scene in a tan colored Oldsmobile. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
