Fayetteville holds 'world's largest spaghetti dinner'

FAYETTEVILLE

The event has been happening for 54 years. Each year, members of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church dish out mountains of spaghetti, oceans of sauce, and countless home-made Greek pastries.

This year, organizers served over 12,000 dinners, which is roughly two tons of pasta, and 900 gallons of sauce.

The church uses proceeds from the dinner sale for various community and civic projects.
