Emergency crews were called to a home in the 6400 block of Emu Drive in Fayetteville Friday morning.
Officials said the child's body was found a bathtub by the mother.
The death is under investigation at this time.
The child's body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.
