With AT&T Raleigh Winterfest coming to a close, Polar Ice House invites Triangle residents to come out for one last skate on Saturday, February 2, 2013, when the rink will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Special activities will be happening at the downtown rink on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. such as free ice skating lessons, shoot-to-win contest and much more.
Schedule of event for this Saturday includes:
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. – Free Ice Skating Lessons
12:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Face painting
12:45 p.m. – Deadline to sign-up for shoot-to-win contest
1:00 p.m. – Shoot-to-win contest starts
Starting at 11 a.m., skaters will be able to register for the chance to win four Carolina Hurricanes tickets provided by 99.9 The Fan in a shoot-to-win contest. One lucky participant will channel his or her inner NHL star and take an 80-foot shot on goal to hopefully win big. No purchase is necessary to register for the competition.
Guests can also brush up on their skills and learn a few new tricks with lessons from Polar Ice House skating instructors that will be offered from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
