Two wanted in Oxford shooting

OXFORD, N.C.

Police said the 26-year-old male victim was shot around 8:40 p.m. in the 100 block of High Street. The victim was walking along the street when two men pulled up beside him. Authorities believe the victim knew the suspects and that the three got into an argument before the man was shot three times.

The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses describe the suspects' vehicle as an older model Nissan sedan with a light green top.

Police have not identified the victim.
