Flyers looking to travel from the Triangle to Los Angeles now have an easier trip ahead of them. Water cannons greeted American Airlines' new daily non-stop flight between RDU and LAX Tuesday.
About 150,000 people travel each year from our region to southern California.
Delta will start its daily non-stop service to Los Angeles on Monday.
