St. Augustine's graduates make history

The class of 2013 made history as the first graduating class of Saint Augustine's University. The school transitioned from Saint Augustine's College to Saint Augustine's University on Aug. 1, 2012.

President Dianne Boardley Suber encouraged students to pay themselves first by investing; to be decision-makers; to have integrity; and to give back.

Cynthia Marshall, senior vice president of human resources for AT&T, delivered the commencement address.

"You are bright, you are talented and you are resilient, and you're already making a difference," Marshall said.

The University also recognized members of the class of 1963, who commemorated their 50th reunion this weekend.
