Surveillance video shows gun store break-in

RALEIGH

The owner of the Eagle One Supply store told ABC11 the thief was able to get into this store by cutting a hole in the roof and the jumping down.

The video shows him picking up different items there and then tipping over a counter with merchandise inside. He can also be seen walking behind the counter, breaking the glass and taking weapons.

There were two break-ins at the store on Craftsman Drive this month.

Police say Jvon Sneed is person in that surveillance video. He is an 11th grader at Enloe High School in Raleigh. He appeared before a judge Tuesday.

Sneed is charged with stealing 34 firearms and is facing other charges. He's being held at the Wake County Detention Center on $750,000 bond.

Sneed's next court appearance is June 17.

The store owner says between the handguns that were stolen and the repair works that needs to be done from the break-ins, he's facing $95,000 in damages. He says insurance won't cover the costs,
