Investigators arrested 29-year-old Shonte Montell Sasser, of Durham, Wednesday evening and charged him with armed robbery in connection with this case.
He was also charged with a probation violation.
Police said a male armed with a gun and wearing a dark stocking mask over his head entered the bank around 4 p.m. on May 23 and demanded money.
He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
