Around 5:30 a.m., emergency officials received a call about the fire after someone spotted flames in the back of the home in the 2500 block of Springhill Avenue.
When fire crews arrived, flames were seen shooting through the roof.
Neighbors told ABC11 no one lives in the home.
Crews were able to get the blaze quickly under control. No one was hurt.
The rear of the home suffered significant damage. Authorities have not said what sparked the fire.
