On June 1 at approximately 2:40 a.m. Harnett County deputies responded to 2802 Walker Rd. in Lillington for a gunshot wound.
The victim, 41-year-old George Daronte Dnell Johnson, of Hope Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Thursday deputies charged 42-year-old Stacey Louise Walker, of Linden with first-degree murder in connection with Johnson's death. She turned herself in at the Harnett County Sheriff's Officer.
Walker has been released on $500,000 bond.
