Crews battle Johnston County house fire

BENSON, N.C.

Crews shut down a section of Highway 301 while they got the fire under control. The house is located in the 200 block of West Parrish Drive.

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported, according to officials. The cause of the fire is unknown.
