Raleigh police charge man with peeping

RALEIGH

According to court documents, Samuel Lyn Boone is accused of looking into a teenage girl's bedroom six times over the last 30 days.

The victim's mother says she was getting suspicious because Boone was giving her daughter gifts, and texting her. She told Boone to stop even showing some of the texts to police.

She thought she had scared her neighbor away until she caught him in the act Monday night.

"Last night, I walked into my backyard," said the mother. "I caught him standing on a stool pressed against my window peering through her closed blinds."

Boone is charged with three felony counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

He's in the Wake County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
