The Aberdeen Times reports the shooting happened at the Country Hearth Inn and Suites on US-1 Friday night. This is the second fatal shooting at the hotel since July.
Officers responded to the hotel just after 10 p.m. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Michael Corley had been taken to the hospital in Pinehurst in a private vehicle, where he later died.
Police said several bullet casings were found outside the hotel.
So far, no arrests have been made.
