It was a record-breaking year for the event held at Sanderson High School where participants raised more than $385,000 for ovarian cancer research.
Organizers say every year 22,000 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with the disease.
Olympic gold medalist and ovarian cancer survivor Shannon Miller made an appearance at this year's event to help spread a message about the silent killer, which often goes undetected.
"It does not discriminate. It doesn't care who you are, where you're from, how many gold medals you have. And so that's why it's so important that we are our own best health advocates that we listen to our bodies. We're not afraid to ask our doctors questions and really speak up for ourselves," said Miller.

All of the money raised went to Duke University Medical Center.
