Kong Sok Namkung, 53, was charged Thursday with taking indecent liberties with a child.
According to the arrest warrant, the child was between 11 and 14 years old.
Namkung is the pastor of St. Matthews United Methodist Church in the 200 block of Hope Mills Road.
At last report, he was in the Cumberland County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
