Tuesday around 5 p.m., 12-year-old Kayla Coore was riding her bike on Nottingham Drive when a man asked her to get into his car.

"I heard this car going slow behind me," said Coore. "It was like too slow -- like it was following me. It pulled up beside me and kinda stopped, and asked me to get in. He kinda said 'get in' and I said no."
Coore was able to ride away, and the man drove off.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male between 28-32 years of age with short hair and a beard.
Coore said that the man was of medium build and that he was wearing a gray or white shirt. She described his vehicle as an older red car.
Anyone seeing a vehicle or driver matching that description should call 911.
