It happened in the Taylors Creek Mobile Home Park in the 3000 block of Paddlefish Drive.
Deputies said 34-year-old Felicia Diggs was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, but doctors were not able to save her.
Detectives are asking for help solving the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
