When firefighters arrived, smoke and flames were pouring out of the home. It took them almost 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

The two people inside the home were not injured, but their two-story farm house was badly damaged.

The Red Cross has been called in to assist the pair.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
