Wake Forest bank robbery suspect caught

Wake Forest police say they're looking for this man.

A Wake Forest bank robbery suspect has been arrested in New Orleans.

Police say 37-year-old Lanson Stalf was picked up by U.S. Marshals at the Sheraton New Orleans Friday evening.

Stalf is currently being held at the Orleans parish sheriff's office.

Officers say he Stalf robbed the PNC Bank on Rogers Road on Wednesday.

Four nearby schools - Wake Forest Middle, Heritage Elementary, Heritage Middle, and Heritage High School - were put on lockdown for almost an hour as a precaution after the holdup.
