It happened Friday night at the intersection of lower Moncure Road and Post Office Road.
State Troopers say 27-year-old Joshua Stokes was walking when he was struck and killed by a car.
Investigators say the car that hit Stokes never stopped.
Stokes' body was found lying in the roadway.
