Troubleshooter Diane Wilson helps Triangle author get refund from publishing company

RALEIGH, N.C.

Helen Russell was frustrated as she already published several books with this company, but this time around, things did not go well.

Brentwood Christian Publishers printed each one of Helen's books, and she hired them to print her latest work, "The God of Hope."

"I had four other books published by this company, and so when they turned it over to this new editor, he was the one that was giving me difficulty," Helen said.

She says the difficulty was getting different excuses as to why her work was not printed, yet.

"When he continued to say well I didn't receive the material or I didn't receive your second payment and things like that, it began to kind of infuriate me," Helen said.

She was especially frustrated since she had already paid $600 up front.

"I had sent two payments, $300 each, then he said he didn't receive that and that's when I really became ballistic," Helen said.

"And that is when I contacted you. And you really lit a fire under him and I was so grateful for that," she added.

A former editor got on the case, and said he would do whatever it takes to make Helen happy, which was to either print the book or refund her the $600.

She opted for the money.

"I am so appreciative...I just want to say that I just admire the way you get things done. It's really wonderful," Helen said.

A rep with Brentwood Christian Publishers also apologized for the frustrations they caused Helen.
