2 Johnston County schools go on lockdown over prank call

JOHNSTON COUNTY

Four Oaks Elementary and Four Oaks Middle School were placed under alert around 11:30 a.m. at the request of law enforcement.

Authorities would only say that there is an investigation going on after what they believed was a prank phone call.

Police in Four Oaks also say they believe they know who the caller is and are looking for them.

The lockdown was lifted around noon after authorities made sure the schools were actually safe.
