Durham police have charged three people in an alleged stabbing incident in Durham.

Officers got a call about a late night disturbance at La Quinta Inn & Suites near Interstate 40 and Highway 55 Friday.

Authorities say an argument there turned violent and sent two people to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds.

Elisa Webb, 23, of Durham was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. The two women who were stabbed - Demisha Turrentine, 25, and Nakella Turrentine, 32, both of Hillsborough - were both charged with simple assault.
