Knife incident reported in Raleigh

Raleigh police have arrested two men after an early-morning argument involving a knife.

The incident happened in the 1400 block of North Raleigh Boulevard around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say 37-year-old Twyan Marquis Taylor attacked 42-year-old Christopher Lamont Rand with a knife.

Rand was taken to WakeMed and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

While at the hospital, police charged Rand with simple assault for allegedly starting the fight. Taylor was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
