It started in the McDougald Terrace housing complex when officers spotted a man in a Ford F150 wanted on various charges.
The chase went past the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, onto University Drive, and then onto West Enterprise - where the driver turned onto the ATT, and narrowly missed several people before ending up stuck sideway on an embankment.
The man ran, but was captured minutes later.
