Woman facing charges after dogs die in hot car

WAKE FOREST

It happened before noon in Wake Forest.

Authorities charged 34-year-old Jennifer King with animal cruelty after she left her dogs unattended for nearly two hours.

Officials said temperatures inside the vehicle reached up to 120 degrees.
