Car crashes into telephone pole in Durham overnight

DURHAM, N.C. -- Authorities have cleared the scene of a car that crashed into a pole at Olympic Avenue in Durham overnight.

Crews told ABC11 the driver lost control of his car and slammed into a telephone pole. No other cars were involved.

The driver was hurt and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash is being investigated.
