Babysitter accused of choking 7-year-old Hope Mills boy

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A babysitter is facing charges for allegedly choking a 7-year-old Hope Mills boy.

Police said Monique Williams agreed to watch the child but got upset while she was babysitting him and put her hands around his neck.

According to the warrant, Williams applied enough pressure to cause choking.

The boy later told his mom, who called police.

Authorities said the boy is doing ok.
