ROXBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a robbery at the BB&T branch on Madison Boulevard in Roxboro.
Just before after 11 a.m. Tuesday, a male suspect went into the bank, demanded money, and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was last seen heading north along nearby railroad tracks.
He is described as a black man in his 40s with a stocky build, standing about 5'11", and weighing about 240 pounds.
The suspect was last seen wearing a green long sleeve shirt, and a Mountain Dew baseball cap with a camouflage pattern on the brim.
Police are asking anyone with with information to contact Sergeant J. Cash of the Criminal Investigations Division at (336) 599-8345 with any information. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
