Suspect arrested in fatal shooting at Fayetteville home

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police arrested a suspect Saturday in a fatal shooting Oct. 16 in the 5000 block of Blayne Drive.

Keyelle Luavee Hassell, 34, was taken into custody.

He's accused of shooting and killing a 42-year-old man inside the home. There was also a woman inside who was not harmed, police say.

Authorities said the victim may have been shot by multiple people.

Hassell has been charged with 1st degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felonious conspiracy and possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine and marijuana. He was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center under no bond.

Officers are still investigating. No other information was released.
