Boy injured after falling 30 feet at Hanging Rock State Park

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A boy is in the hospital after falling about 30 feet at Hanging Rock State Park Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened near the Upper Cascades around 12:20 p.m.

Officials said the boy was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Officials have yet to comment on the boy's condition or what caused the fall.
