RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A North Raleigh business suffered minor damage after a vehicle ran into the building. It happened at an office complex in the 8,300 block of Six Fork Road.
Police say an 86-year-old man accidentally hit the gas, instead of his brake, and jumped the curb. His sedan crashed into the building around 8:45 Tuesday morning.
Some of the brick on the building buckled and support columns were knocked over.
Folks working into Raymond James Finance tell ABC11 the building started shaking.
"We both jumped up like 'Uh-oh, something hit the building'," said eyewitness Jennifer Boles.
"I ran downstairs and I couldn't open the door and I could see a car did his the building," said eyewitness Tanya Sloan.
Nobody was injured in the crash. Charges are not being filed against the driver.
