Car smashes into Payless shoe store in Raleigh

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A car smashed through the front of a Payless shoe store in Raleigh late Thursday morning.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. off New Bern Avenue at New Hope Road.

The store is in a busy retail area that is surrounded by restaurants, shops and a Walmart.

It is unknown if anyone was injured.
