CARY, N.C. -- A water main break has closed Academy Street from Ambassador Loop to Wilkinson Avenue on Sunday morning.
Drivers should use Ambassador Loop to Wilkinson Avenue to detour the closure.
Town officials said the Chamber of Commerce building and one law office are without water and remain closed.
Downtown is still open for business.
Officials say the road is expected to reopen this evening.
