Chapel Hill pedestrian dies after collision with vehicle

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WTVD) -- Chapel Hill Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a vehicle Tuesday night.

It happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Westminster Drive.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not immediately release any other information about the victim.

Southbound Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard was closed until about 1 a.m.

The investigation continues.
