North Carolina couple stops at Chick-fil-a while pregnant wife's in labor

NORTH CAROLINA (WTVD) -- Chick-Fil-A lovers have been known to go to extremes like waiting in line for hours just to get their hands on their favorite fast food.

However, a Charlotte father loves the chicken chain so much that he stopped for a meal while his pregnant wife was in labor!

Wes and Lacey Cope were on their way to the hospital when her water broke.

However, Lacey was calm since this was her fourth delivery.

Wes offers this advice if you want Chick-Fil-A to move fast, "tell them your wife's in labor."

If you're wondering, the Cope's son was delivered at the hospital with no problems.
