Nearly 40 cars catch fire at Johnston County junkyard

CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Dozens of cars caught fire at a Johnston County junkyard overnight.

Video from ABC11's breaking news crew shows a reddish hue above a junkyard where approximately 39 cars were burned. It happened on Sadisco Road in Clayton close to Highway 70 and Business 70.

Crews were able to get the fire under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
