CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A motorcyclist was injured after a near head-on collision with a car in Clayton on Saturday night.
Clayton police said it happened on Barber Mill Road near Cheltenham Drive, off of NC-42.
The accident happened just after 9 p.m. The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Kevin Medina, was rushed to WakeMed with multiple broken bones.
Stacy Beard, the Public Information Officer for Clayton, told ABC11 charges are pending for the driver of the car that hit Medina.
Witnesses say the driver, 55-year-old Steven Ellen, may have turned in front of the motorcycle. Ellen was treated at the scene by Johnston County EMS but his injuries were not considered serious.
