Dallas crane collapse caught on camera

DALLAS (WTVD) -- The Dallas Museum of Art has released surveillance video of a giant crane collapse earlier this month.

You can see the crane trying to lift up the frame of a tent when it tips over.

The operator was thrown from the crane and taken to the hospital.

Fortunately, the crane just missed crushing an iconic sculpture by Mark di Suvero that's on the museum's south lawn.

Another crane had to be used to haul away the fallen crane.
