Car slams into Cary apartment building

CARY (WTVD) -- A vehicle slammed into the side of a Cary apartment building Wednesday afternoon - knocking a hole in the wall of the two-story building.

It happened in the 300 block of Hastings Place.

The area is just south of SW Maynard Road.

Investigators said the driver hit the gas instead of the brake. The person was not hurt. No one was in the damaged apartment when it happened.
