RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Emergency workers dealt with a a fiery crash at Creedmoor Road and I-540 just after 8:30 p.m. in Raleigh Friday night.
Pictures from a DOT camera showed intense flames coming from two vehicles and firefighters using water to put out the blaze.
A woman in one car told ABC11 that she was trying to turn left when an SUV ran a red light and hit her broadside.
People stopped and helped her and her two young children get out of the car before it caught fire.
"I'm just glad a lot of people were able to get out and help us out," said Ivy Hill.
There are no reports of serious injuries.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. The driver of the SUV was cited for running the light.
