Major delays on US-1 near Cary due to crash

WAKE CO., N.C. -- A crash on US-1 caused a major traffic delay Friday evening.
US-1 southbound near Walnut Street in Wake County near Cary was closed as crews responded to a crash. Two northbound lanes on US-1 near Walnut Street (exit 101) were also closed.
Three cars were involved in the crash, town officials said. Minor injuries were reported.
