CRICKET BRAWL
The normally mild-mannered game of cricket was anything but in Australia this weekend when about 40 fans started throwing punches at a bar in Sydney.
Plates and even chairs were thrown in the melee that left four people hurt.
Two people were arrested.
SLIPPERY ROBBERY
Crooks in Coventry England used a Mercedes to smash through the front of a jewelry store and then ran in through the broken glass.
Bizarrely, they then started to slip and slide on the very polished floor. The thieves used axes to smash the store's cabinets and filled their canvas bags with jewelry.
A smoke-generating security device then started pumping smoke into the room, forcing them to run out.
PONY WEDDING
In Thailand, a Valentine's Day wedding was held for two ponies.
"Bug Wae" and "Pepsi" exchanged nuptials at the Lampang Zoo while zoo employees were dressed much like Cupid - with wings and white uniforms.
Morning glory flowers, watermelon, papaya, carrots, and more were presented to "Pepsi" from her groom as dowry money.
The zoo director says the two ponies have been eying each other for a year.
REPORTER IN BLIZZARD
The wind was blowing so powerfully during blizzard conditions in Boston that a TV reporter had to cling to the area above the hood of a car just to stay upright.
Boston has broken its record for the snowiest February of all time - getting 42.2 inches this month - and we're just halfway through February.
