Cyclist killed in Chapel Hill identified

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- A cyclist was killed in an accident at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hillsborough Street in Chapel Hill Friday morning.

The cyclist killed was identified Monday as 57-year-old Pamela Lane, of Durham.

Police believe Lane was traveling south on the sidewalk of MLK when she collided with a car coming out of a gas station parking lot.

Chapel Hill police are investigating. No charges have been filed at last report.
