K-9 Unit finds dead body during Fayetteville training
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Officers with Fayetteville's K-9 Unit were training in a wooded area Wednesday along Shaw Mill Road when they found a dead man.
Officers found the body near the Ridge Road intersection. The victim was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death.
Detectives will also take a look at recent missing persons reports once the victim is identified.
