Last day at the Dogwood Festival
Folks enjoyed the last day of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The 33rd Annual Dogwood Festival wrapped up on Sunday evening.

Festival-goers and their four-legged friends bundled up for those below average temperatures outside to enjoy the last day of fun at Festival Park.

One of the day's big highlights was the annual Fayetteville Duck Derby. People were invited to adopt one of the rubber ducks for $5. The ducks then competed in a race over the water of Cross Creek.

The Duck Derby is a Fayetteville Urban Ministry fundraiser that raises money for 30 different local nonprofits.

The ABC11 team was there again Sunday to greet festival-goers. Steve Daniels, Tisha Powell, Chris Hohmann, and Anna Laurel were all there signing autographs and taking pictures under the ABC11 tent.
