Man shot in the backside in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police said a 20-year-old man was shot in the backside in Durham on Tuesday night.

Officials said it happened in the 2200 block of Ashe Street at Guthrie Avenue.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Bullet casings littered the street as emergency crews cleared the scene.

Police have not said what led to the shooting or if they've caught the gunman.
