Police investigate drive-by shooting in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a drive-by shooting they say happened Saturday night.

Authorities said it happened just after 7 p.m. on Walton Street, near the intersection of Cushman Street.

Our crew on the scene said it appeared the back window of a car was shot out.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim's name has not yet been released. Investigators are working to determine a motive for the shooting.
